The Lake Macquarie U3A Orchestra is comprised of 30+ senior citizens aged 55 and over who have a passion for playing orchestral music.

U3A (University of 3rd Age) is an international not-for-profit, self-help organisation that provides learning opportunities for retired and semi-retired people.

Lake Macquarie U3A Inc is volunteer run and based in Toronto NSW. There are over 700 members and offers a wide range of courses, activities, and talks. Lake Macquarie U3A Orchestra is the only one of its kind in the state.
