An introduction to the world's oldest peace organisation run solely by women
Come to this information session to learn about WILPF (Women's International League for Peace and Freedom) women’s remarkable contributions to peacebuilding over the decades, at the global, national and local levels. The session will conclude with a group discussion of current peace and social justice issues of concern to participants that may contribute to local campaigns and initiatives.
The session will be lead by Dr Leonnie Blumson, group coordinator and member of 14 years. Members Dr Bev Hall and Sue Herbert will also present information.
