Celebrate Double Bay Festival: 21 + 22 February

Double Bay will come alive on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026 with the launch of the inaugural Celebrate Double Bay Festival.

Double Bay will come alive on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026 with the launch of the inaugural Celebrate Double Bay Festival presented by Buildcorp — a two-day open street celebration transforming the harbourside village into a vibrant hub of food, fashion, music, and community.

Proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Street Program and hosted by Woollahra Council in partnership with the Bay Street Initiative, the festival will see Knox Street and Bay Street close to traffic on Saturday (12pm–6pm) to create a pedestrian-friendly precinct for alfresco dining, live entertainment, and a spectacular 90-metre pink carpet fashion runway.

Grab a mate and celebrate or bring the whole family for a family friendly event. Festival highlights include The Village Social at Guilfoyle Piazza featuring curated dining from Neil Perry’s Café Margaret, Bibo Wine Bar, Frutteria and Costi’s Catch; the Double Bay Fashion Runway presented by Body by Berner showcasing leading boutiques including Oroton, Manning Cartell, Stylerunner and Zadig & Voltaire; and Royal Oak’s open-air beer garden, “Under the Oak.” Across the weekend, visitors can also enjoy live music at Steyne Park, a luxury car showcase, heritage walks, sunset yoga, Puppy Pilates, and a dedicated Family & Community Zone with children’s entertainment.

The Sunday program (10am–4pm) continues the celebrations with community performances, local food stalls and family-friendly activities, cementing Celebrate Double Bay as Sydney’s most sophisticated street party and a new highlight on the summer events calendar.
