Do I have to register for Open Day separately?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Visit the Open Day website to register for the event; this will give you access to the online event planner where you can build your own schedule from the full program of 400+ sessions.  Start planning your Open Day experience: openday.unimelb.edu.au

Question 2

Will food be available on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Food vendors and trucks will be serving refreshments and food throughout the day.  You are also welcome to bring a packed lunch.  A complimentary food voucher of $15 will be provided with each bus ticket.

Is there someone who can help me find my way on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are hosts that can guide you on the day subject to availability. Please ensure you specify your interest when booking your ticket on the bus. There will also be student volunteers across campus to assist with wayfinding - look out for the blue vest.

Question 4

What language support can you provide on the day?

For those attendees who have advised they would like support in their first language, we will try to 'buddy' you up with another community member attending who speaks the same language or we will look into providing a community interpreter to assist you.

What time will the bus leave different locations?

Accepted Answer

Departure time for each location will be determined closer to the event.  Currently departure times and locations: Cobram Secondary College 25-47 Warkil St, Cobram at 6:30am, Kyabram Transit Centre, Union St, Kyabram at 6:45am and Shepparton Library, 41 Marungi St, Shepparton at 7:15am.

What if I am under 18yrs and do not have an adult to travel with me?

Please email kate.radevski@unimelb.edu.au for a consent form.  You're chosen adult will need to complete the consent form, sign and return the form before being able to board the bus.
