Overview

Join us at Carlton Library to make friends and work on your sewing or mending projects in a fun and friendly, accepting environment

Keen to make and mend but you don’t have access to a sewing machine? Come and use ours!

Our Sewing Club sessions let you and other likeminded crafters work on your individual projects. It’s also a chance to chat, make new friends and get advice. Plus, we’ll bring all the materials! Scissors, pins, sewing needles, measuring tapes, sewing thread and fabric scraps are all provided. If there's something you'd like to use to complete your project, feel free to bring it along.

Bookings essential.

*Please note this is not a sewing class. Prior knowledge / experience with sewing or sewing machines is required and no assistance will be provided.

To attend one of our sewing classes, see our Sew-Amazing workshops for beginners at Fitzroy Library and Carlton Library.

If you have accessibility questions or requirements, please contact us at yarralibraries@yarracity.vic.gov.au or on 1300 695 427.
