Caring for the Mental Health Carer: Grounding Techniques – Adult Workshop / Support Group

Grounding Techniques is a therapeutic group program designed for people aged over 18 who are supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge

All of us experience the stresses and pressures of life which can impact our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Grounding is a mindfulness technique that helps us to focus on the present moment, lower anxiety, and feel a sense of calm. These things can be especially heightened if you are caring for a family member or friend experiencing mental health challenges.

Come along to this Grounding Workshop and learn how to introduce grounding practices into your daily routine. You’ll have the opportunity to try a few different techniques and see which ones work for you.
