Who supports the carers?
Caring can be complex and challenging. One in eight people at any time provide unpaid care or support to someone in need. Carers Victoria is here to assist.
This event provides information about the support services available to family carers and the service organisations which provide those services.
Who should attend
This event is open to people wanting to know more about the support services available for carers.
All carers are welcome and light refreshments will be provided.
Topics will include
- The challenges facing carers;
- Support services available to carers through the Carer Gateway and the Victorian Support for Carers Program;
- Information on which organisations provide support across Victoria;
- The role of Carers Victoria.
