Three-Day Carer Retreat (This is a carer only event)
This program is open to carers of children (including adult children) living with disabilities. We encourage carers in the Metro West, Geelong, Bendigo, Shepparton and Latrobe regions to register for this three-day retreat.
This retreat is for carers to connect, relax, improve their wellbeing and take a break.
Activities are designed to offer a balance of self-care, nature immersion, gentle physical activity, and art and craft therapy.
Activities may include:
- Bushwalks on the property
- Campfire circle and star gazing
- Tree planting as part of bushland regeneration project
- Balnarring Beach coastal walks
- Facials
- Art therapy
Who can attend: Carers of children (including adult children) living with disability. You must live in the Metro West, Geelong, Bendigo, Shepparton or Latrobe regions. Due to funding requirements, places are limited to primary carers only.
When: Monday 27 May, Tuesday 28 May and Wednesday 29 May 2024 (three days)
Where: Saltbush Balnarring Beach

Cost: All accommodation, meals and activities are covered.
A staff member will contact you to complete the registration for the carer retreat. Priority will be given to carers who have not attended previously.
