Overview

A free workshop with the latest information to assist you in towing your caravan safely.

Port Stephens Council offers a free Caravan Towing Safety Workshop!

Are you ready to hit the road with confidence? Our in-person Caravan Towing Workshop facilitated by Tow-Ed is perfect for anyone looking for practical tips and the legal know-how to tow safely and responsibly. Whether you’re a newbie or want a refresher, we’ll cover all the essentials—from legal responsbilities and caravan weights to knowing how to load your caravan and vehicle set-up safely. Come along, ask questions, and see a practical demonstration of how weight impacts sway in a friendly, relaxed setting.

This road safety initiative is brought to you by Port Stephens Council and is funded by Transport for NSW. It is part of a series of workshops delivered by Cessnock, Maitland, MidCoast, and Port Stephens Councils to provide safe caravan towing education across the Hunter community.
