Capitalising on e-commerce opportunities in Southeast Asia
In the first quarter of 2020 alone, Australia saw growth in online purchases of up to 41 per cent. The global shift towards e-Commerce, spurred by COVID-19, has changed the way people buy goods and has unlocked a new demographic of e-commerce users. Our projection is that these changes here to stay.
Southeast Asia’s consumers are transforming and understanding changes the in way they consume, adopt digital technology and spend their money is critical. Increased levels of disposable income, connectivity and exposure to online services are driving this transformation. Sydney retailers considering e-commerce opportunities in Southeast Asia will need to develop a sophisticated understanding of the region and the e-commerce ecosystem, in order to tap into this growing consumer base.
This facilitated workshop will provide Sydney retailers with an understanding of the e-Commerce opportunities in Southeast Asia, which will ultimately support their economic recovery and plans for future growth.
