Canowindra Library Storytime is an exciting program to share with your child from birth to pre-school. It is designed to enhance language development, develop pre-literacy skills, stimulate imagination, and make reading a daily habit.

<p>Canowindra Library Storytime is an exciting program that you share with your child from birth to pre-school. It is designed to enhance language development, develop pre-literacy skills, stimulate imagination, and make reading with your child a part of your everyday routine.</p><p>We use nursery rhymes, action songs, finger plays and stories in a fun and interactive way. We also share tips with parents on how to include these in their routines at home.</p><p>Canowindra Library Storytime is held every Thursday during the school term. Sessions are free and last approximately half an hour. Please be early and have your child settled for the stories to begin.</p><p>We regret that our numbers are limited. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council’s websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms.
