Event description

Description

In light of the emerging COVID-19 situation the University is adopting a series of changes to reduce rates of infection in the community. The health and wellbeing of our community is of paramount importance. Therefore, all University events have been postponed or cancelled.

The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music’s performances are an important part of our students’ learning and, in many cases, part of their curriculum and assessment. We are working to find alternative modes of delivery, such as live-streaming and recording.

More information on those arrangements will be available soon. In the meantime, we would like to thank you for your understanding and support in these challenging times and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events when possible.

Director and Dramaturg: Maude Davey
Musical Dramaturg: Peter Farnan

The Oxford dictionary defines ‘mongrel’ as being ‘of no definable breed or type’. See what happens when Music Theatre students from the Victorian College of the Arts and Interactive Composition students from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music bring together their creative talents to forge the new directions for music theatre, cabaret, and live performance. We invite you to get up close to the future of new Australian work: hilarious, provocative, and thoughtful.

We strongly encourage booking in advance for all of our events. This guarantees your seat, and allows us to communicate any unforeseen event scheduling changes with you. Please note, tickets are required for entry to paid events.
