Event description

Putting Data First - Why Johnny can’t data and what we need to do about it.

Organisations are repeatedly frustrated when attempting to do more with their data. They are often not even certain what this means or how to do it. They repeatedly spend too much, take too long, and deliver far less than planned as they look to data to resolve strategic issues or create innovative services.

This 2-day workshop begins by uncovering the root causes of why Johnny and most organisations can’t leverage data better. We focus firstly on the inherent architectural and engineering the foundations that are almost totally lacking in formal university programs and training curricula.

The remaining sessions explore the requisite leadership criteria for success, how to express these in a form that management will develop a data strategy, and monetize data management to make it relevant to management.

On completion, you will be able to prepare your organisation to use better data in achieving its objectives.
