About this event

Discover one of the region’s best-kept secrets! Located near Eastern Park and the Waterfront, the Botanic Gardens are home to an amazing plant collection, a renowned selection of trees and many original heritage features, including some of Geelong’s famous bollards!

Geelong is a city built on the wool industry. The National Wool Museum, located on the site of a wool store that opened in 1872, is a place to learn about both the history of the wool trade and the Indigenous culture of the area.

In this awesome group outing, we’ll do a guided tour of the Botanic Gardens, followed by a picnic at Eastern Beach. We’ll then explore the National Wool Museum!
