Following his debut release ‘C’est Toi’, with iconic US label ANTI (Wilco, Tom Waits), Perth-bred/LA-based artist, Cameron Avery today announces a series of national headline dates. Written about the last time he fell in love, ‘C’est Toi’ is the first cut from his highly anticipated forthcoming album. Charged with a raw sense of nostalgia, paired with lyrics laden in a romantic debris, the track was recorded at Fivestar Studio, where Avery worked alongside long-time friend Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Erykah Badu, Elvis Costello.)
With his constant touring exploits with Tame Impala, along with his two-man expedition Allbrook/Avery and his first brainchild The Growl, it is an understatement to say that Cameron Avery is a bonafide tour veteran. The string of shows follow from his recent support slots for luminaries The Last Shadow Puppets and Father John Misty.
