(Future calibration workshops and calibration panels will also be held in Central Office and across regions during October 2017)
9am - 10:00am Workshop - Understanding the flowcharts to support calibration
This workshop will build the confidence and capability in using the Standards of Evidence to calibrate evidence studies. This session will include using the Calibration tool and unpacking the flow charts to calibrate an evidence study against each dimension of the Standards of Evidence.
Two calibration sessions will follow the workshop. Participants and people who have previously engaged in an 'Understanding the flowcharts to support calibration workshop' are encouraged to join one or both calibration session/s.

SESSION FULL - 10:30am - 12:30pm Calibration Panel - Literacy
Participants have the opportunity to practically apply their learnings to calibrate evidence studies as a calibration panel member. This session will include participants using the Calibration tool and flow charts against each dimension of the Standards of Evidence and contributing to discussions and decision making about the quality of the claims in an evidence study.
12:30pm - 1pm - lunch (provided)

1pm - 3pm Calibration Panel - Numeracy
This session will include participants using the Calibration tool and flow charts against each dimension of the Standards of Evidence and contributing to discussions and decision making about the quality of the claims in an evidence study.
Everyone who registers will be emailed the evidence studies to be calibrated. It is essential that you have read these thoroughly prior to the session.

*Before participating in a calibration session, you must complete or have previously completed an 'Understanding the flowcharts to support calibration workshop'.
Registrations will close 11 September 2017 to allow enough time for evidence studies to be read in detail prior to calibration.
