CAKE (Consent and Kink Education) is a fun, informal and relaxed workshop providing people interested in the kink/BDSM community an in-depth 101 to some of the communities’ core concepts. CAKE is designed for those who are new or novices to kink, or as a refresher for those more experienced. CAKE explores consent and safety in the kink and fetish scene focusing on:

• Exploring models of consent
• Barriers to consent
• Mistakes and how to learn from them
• Legal systems and kink
• Awareness of triggers and trauma
• Relationship between consent and power dynamics
• Safety in kink, including face-to-face and online safety
• Opportunities for question and answer

And is perfect for anyone looking to attend their first Kink/BDSM event in the near future!
The workshop tickets are pre-sale only and are held privately at Adult Bliss Erotica upstairs. This workshop is not wheelchair accessible however we do have a streaming ticket for people who are unable to attend. This is due to the space we have and as much as it pains us, we have no other solution at this time.

We are capping seats at 25 to avoid overcrowding and to provide a better more intimate experience, we love how interactive these workshops are and feel keeping the numbers to a minimum is the best way to achieve this!

The workshop goes for max 3 hours, coffee, tea and CAKE are provided.

Refunds can be requested up to 48 hours prior to the event, please contact us if you are feeling unwell on the day. Masks are not mandatory but are welcome if you wish.

Content Warning: It is very likely that we will be discussing themes that include domestic violence, sexual or physical abuse, trauma and triggers to trauma, please always feel free to leave at any time or take a break if needed.

Allergies & Dietary Needs: We provide, coffee, tea, cake and biscuits on the day! We have soy milk, lactose-free dairy milk, and gluten-free cake/biscuits. If you have any dietary needs outside of these please get in touch so we can cater for you.

Media Consent: We’ll be taking some photos during tomorrow’s event, but rest assured that all participant faces will be cropped out of any images we choose to use. Any other images will be permanently deleted.
