Course Summary

In today's ever-changing business landscape, optimising processes is the key to organisational success. Whether you're an experienced professional or a curious learner, this course is thoughtfully designed to equip you with the essential skills and methodologies, including both Basic and BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) notations, for navigating complex processes, visualising workflows, and driving efficiency within your organisation.

T his course will run from 9am - 4pm daily at our City Campus Location in Reid, ACT.

Through more than 15 workshops, participants learn how to engage stakeholders and identify and capture business process information, visualise business process flows and also analyse and improve business processes. Main topics included in this 3-day course include:

· What is the business process and how is it different to a business activity?

· What are different types of process illustrations and the main components of process documentation?

· How can MS Visio and other MS Office software be used to provide process maps?

· What are the BPMN process maps?

· What are the required steps for a successful process measurement and improvement?

Instructors

Dr Ali Khosravi is a Senior Consultant at Excellencers Co. He has completed his PhD at Macquarie University, Sydney and has led more than 30 Business Improvement projects within a range of industries including health, education, telecommunication, construction, water and sewerage, power generation and distribution, food, automotive, oil drilling, and a two-billion-dollar oil refinery and petrochemical complex project where he was in charge of the whole feasibility study. His main fields of expertise include Business Excellence and Business Process / Performance Management. He has published articles in international journals such as Business Process Management Journal and Total Quality Management and Business Excellence Journal.
