Business Connection in Motion: 'Women in the West' Walk & Talk
A low-pressure networking event for female business owners and professionals who want real connection without awkward small talk.
Join the 'Women in the West' Business Walk & Talk
If traditional networking feels intimidating, forced, or just downright exhausting, this is your kind of event. Walking side-by-side takes the pressure off and creates a space where conversations flow naturally. Fresh air lowers stress, movement boosts creativity, and the casual format opens the door to meaningful, energising connection.
This is networking without the performance. No elevator pitches. No awkward intros. Just genuine people building genuine relationships.
In partnership with the City of Charles Sturt and their 'Women in the West' event inititives, Business Connection in Motion is a relaxed, low-pressure networking event for female business owners and professionals who want real connection without the awkward small talk or salesy energy.
What to Expect
- Meet outside the Grange Jetty Café at 9:15am for a 9:30am start
- Enjoy a guided 60-minute, easy-paced walk along the esplanade, from Grange to Henley and return
- Finish at Grange Jetty Café for coffee or brunch (own expense)
This isn’t about fitness, it’s about connection, conversation, and community. Come as you are.
Real Results from Past Business Walk & Talk Events
- A participant moved from maternity leave straight into a new employment opportunity
- Podcast collaborations
- Mutually beneficial community and charity partnerships
- Long-lasting connections (the kind that stick, not the ‘networking buddy who never replies’ version)
This is what happens when you put good humans together in a relaxed, supportive space.
You'll Walk Away Feeling:
- Connected (without the pressure of putting your networking ‘game face’ on)
- Supported by a community of like-minded business owners and professionals
- Refreshed and inspired
- More confident and energised about your work and the people around you
Wet Weather Plan
If heavy rain or storms roll in, we'll move to Grange Jetty Café for a relaxed networking breakfast (own expense). Same vibe. Same supportive energy.
Presented by Lisa Infante from Courage to Change Collective in collaboration with City of Charles Sturt.
Lisa has over seven years of experience supporting business owners, leaders, and high-achievers to navigate stress, self-doubt, and the pressure of spinning all the plates. She’s known for creating safe, empowering spaces for honest conversations, mindset growth, and real connection.
Her work blends mindset development, wellbeing strategies, and nervous system regulation, helping participants feel grounded, supported, and confident in both their personal and professional lives.
She developed Business Connection in Motion: Walk & Talk as an inclusive alternative to traditional networking; a space for people who want meaningful conversations and connections without the awkwardness. By combining movement with genuine ‘getting to know you’ talk, Lisa helps participants walk away feeling inspired, seen, and connected.
