Bush Products and the Law

Bush Products and the Law is a unique half-day workshop specifically designed to provide entrepreneurs, businesses and community members with insight into holistic solutions for managing Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) in the commercialisation of bushfoods and bush products.

The workshop will provide you with insight on:

  • The Australian bush products industry;
  • Intellectual Property (IP)
  • Protecting Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP);
  • Commercialising bush products; and
  • Case Studies (who & what is successful)

Participants will also receive a workshop  summary paper and have an opportunity to ask question during a Q&A session.

Who is it for?

Anyone wanting a better understanding of how to respectfully approach the use of Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) when entering or existing in the bush foods and products market. This may include researchers, business people, chefs, pharmacists, government representatives and anyone interested in the commercialisation of Bush Products.
