Join us for our inaugural event featuring the incredible book, 'Plantology' (Barometer Books) with the authors, Teena Crawford and Lisa Ellis to discuss:
How can we recognize plant strengths, challenge ideas, and prejudices for resilient plant-driven landscapes?
This is a fantastic chance to dive into the world of design with plants, chat with the minds behind the book, and meet fellow plant lovers across the industry
When: Thursday 26 February 2026
Time: 5:30 pm welcome drinks & discussion 6:15-7:00 pm.
Networking drinks and book signing/sales until event ends at 7:30 pm.
Where: Main Building Hall, Burnley Campus
500 Yarra Blvd, Richmond
Tickets: $20 Full / $10 Students
A limited supply of books copies will be available for $95 payment via EFT or cash.
15% of proceeds will be donated to the Burnley Fund.
The Burnley Plants Forum is a series of seasonal events for practitioners and academics to come together at Burnley, as the hub for urban horticulture teaching, learning and research in Australia. Join us to address topical issues in guest presentations, showcases, panel discussions and exhibitions

We welcome professionals, students and alumni working in urban horticulture and related fields, including horticulturalists, garden/ landscape designers and architects, urban foresters and ecologists, open space planners and more - even if you have never studied or been to Burnley.
