This immersive dance workshop invites you to embody the unexpected as you transform into Giant Eyeballs—yes, gloriously oversized, delightfully bizarre, and absolutely unforgettable. You’ll be joining a crowd-favourite number inspired by classic Showgirl Burlesque, but with a deliciously off-kilter, oddball twist straight from the uncanny side of cabaret.

Learn playful choreography, explore surreal character work, and discover how to blend elegance with absurdity as you become part of a visually striking, joyfully weird ensemble. Whether you’re new to burlesque or a seasoned tease-art enthusiast, this is your chance to step into something bold, imaginative, and utterly one-of-a-kind.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT MOONFLOWER MOVEMENT CLASS?

Moonflower Movement classes are somatic burlesque classes focusing on sensual burlesque and fusion styles. They are about stepping into your power celebrating your body and self and connecting with your body. We will cover burlesque with a fusion of other styles including 20s - 60s vintage dance, silk veil fan dance, bellydance and temple dance styles focusing on dance as an embodied ritual in which we honour and celebrate ourself! We will work two routines over two sessions with COMPLETELY optional performances.

The Moonflower Movement classes will help us build up a repertoire of dance movements and help you explore all the different ways to move your body and what your body is capable of with optional empowering burlesque fusion performance opportunities available to dancers future shows.The space is bathed in a tea light for each class as we connect with our bodies and each other and take back our power as beautiful, sensual dancers owning our bodies and reveling in its beauty! This is a aburlesque act where a rainbow silk veil will be used in the opening half of the routine.

Dance based in conscious and somatic movement and in connection with or body and celebrating ourselves. This is our kind of burlesque and sensual dance class fused with a whole lot more to add to your practice.
