Join us in a practical skills coaching session to learn about Skin and Pressure Injury Care – it's going to be informative and engaging!

This session is facilitated by a registered nurse and designed to enhance the health literacy of carers to support care recipients with their skin care.

After completing this session participants should be able to:

• Examine the risk factors for skin injuries and describe general skin care principles that keep skin healthy, including the early intervention of skin tear management.
• Examine techniques for preventing pressure injuries include proper repositioning techniques and use of supports.
