Celebrate Harmony Week in Ryde with culture, conversation and a keynote on belonging and multicultural community life.

Harmony Week is a time to celebrate Australia’s cultural diversity and promote inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all.

The City of Ryde in collaboration with CMRC (Community Migrant Resource Centre) invites you to Building Belonging: Harmony in a Multicultural Ryde, a Harmony Week community event focused on strengthening connection, understanding and social cohesion at the local level.

This event will feature a keynote address exploring multiculturalism, migrant lives, and the everyday experiences of diversity and belonging. Drawing on evidence and lived experience, the talk will reflect on contemporary challenges facing multicultural communities and highlight positive pathways for building inclusive and connected neighbourhoods.

The program will also include cultural performances and light refreshments, creating a welcoming and engaging space for shared learning and celebration.
