Build Better Hips: Strength, Mobility,

Performance

A functional training weekend for coaches, practitioners,

and movers.

10:00 AM – 3:30 PM each day

Whether you’re a coach, trainer, pilates teacher, yoga teacher, therapist, or an athlete who

simply wants to move better, this two-day training is designed to elevate the way you

understand—and train—the hips.

This weekend goes far beyond stretching or isolated mobility drills. We’ll explore the hips

through a functional, strength-focused, biomechanics-driven approach that helps people move

with more power, control, and longevity, no matter their modality.

What You’ll Learn

1. Hip Anatomy Made Practical

A clear, usable breakdown of the hip joint, surrounding tissues, and the movement patterns that

matter in real life and sport.

2. How to Build Strong, Mobile, Resilient Hips

Learn the principles behind creating hips that can produce force, absorb load, and move

through healthy ranges with confidence.

3. Movement Progressions for Every Body

Strength, mobility, and control progressions that can be integrated into any training style—from

1:1 sessions to group classes or your own practice.

4. Understanding Rotation and the Role of the Hips in Whole-Body

Movement

Internal/external rotation, gait mechanics, and how the hips influence performance up and down

the chain.

5. Addressing Common Hip Issues

Recognise limitations, build better movement strategies, and navigate pain, tightness, and

dysfunction safely and effectively.

6. Coaching, Cueing and Hands-On Support (Optional)

Confidently guide clients with verbal cues, tactile feedback, and partner work in a way that

supports joint integrity and motor learning.

7. Real-World Application

Learn how to apply everything into any training environment—sports, strength, mobility work,

therapeutic movement, or general fitness.
