Build a Bot 2 Day Workshop

Learn to create your own robot with a personality in this hands-on, two day workshop.

Create your own robot character using design skills, 3D printing, 3D modelling, electronics and crafting in this Makerspace STEAM activity. Make your creation come to life with motors and lights while learning Arduino electronics and coding skills. Makerspace tooling, crafting and upcycled materials will be available to finish your bot. Take it home and continue to upgrade and improve your bot as desired. This session is suitable for absolute beginners, with no prior knowledge in electronics, coding or 3D printing required. Participants will be provided with an activity kit at no cost. BYO laptop for the coding content required. Limited to x8 participants - UniSQ Students, Staff and Educators, School Teachers / Teacher Librarians only.
