Our 1.5 hour workshop is designed to offer basic training for people in a client facing role with the practice tools to best support clients to take control over how they use their money.

Do you have superpowers in casework, housing, mental health, disability support or customer service etc but lack the confidence to have an informed financial conversation with your clients? Then this training is for you.

Budgeting - Your Client's New Superpower will empower you with the tools, tips and trick to support your clients create and maintain a practical budget which they can use now and into the future.

This session will guide you through the stages of budgeting including:

  • Best way to track expenses.
  • Separating needs from wants.
  • Mapping out bills.
  • Budgeting styles and techniques.
  • Splitting bank accounts.

There are 3 sessions you can choose from:

  • Wednesday 22nd May at 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
  • Thursday 20th June at 9.30am to 11.00am
  • Tuesday 25th June at 2.30pm to 4.00pm.

You can select the session you prefer on the ticketing page. All sessions will be delivered by Zoom.

This session is funded through the Dept Community & Justice and the best thing is that it's FREE. There is no charge to attend this training. All sessions will be conducted via Zoom but spaces are limited to 16 people per session.

Your trainer is Kathy Nemeth who has worked throughout her career in the community sector, including 15 years in financial inclusion supporting clients, workers and community organisations to deliver professional & informed practice.
