BUDD Official Launch OVIT 12" Vinyl Re-Release - Sydney
Legendary Australian Grunge/Stoner Rock group BUDD Launch Reissued OVIT 12” Vinyl EP. With industrial electro-metal berserkers Falconwülf.
BUDD OFFICIAL LAUNCH
Budd launch Ovit EP 30th Anniversary 12" vinyl reissue.
On the back of a busy last 12 months, legendary grunge riffateers Budd dive into 2026 with a run of new shows to celebrate their recently reissuedOvit EP, on Cheersquad Records & Tapes.
Following the release of the single 'Banger' (their first new release in 16 years), Budd have been thrilled to recently revisit and re-release (on vinyl for the first time) their essential 1996 four-track EPOvit for its 30th anniversary. Alongside founding member and current guitarist/singer Jez Budd, the original recordings feature Jon Morris on drums and Ngakau Luke-Harris on bass.
As part of a three-date tour of NSW in late March, to officially launch Ovit in the state, Budd are excited to return to Sydney’s MoshPit for a special two-set show. The first will feature a current lineup of the band, with Kez on bass, while the second set will feature the special guest return of Ngakau on bass – a thrilling prospect for band and fans alike.
Special guests are industrial electro-metal berserkers Falconwülf!
The songs on Ovit still sound fresh and visceral, a thunderous wall of guitars – all blistering distortion, effects pedals for days, and a rhythm section that never lets up. Electrically charged superfuzz that melts your speaker cones and your brain!
