Description

Brisbane River Resilience and Sustainability: past, present and future - Session 1

Don’t miss this opportunity to cruise down the Brisbane River on a chartered CityCat while exploring the history and future of Brisbane waterways.

Hosted by Brisbane City Council, this session explores the changes in the river and surrounding landscape over time, the impact of society on our waterways, and what we can all do to support a resilient river and Brisbane’s water security into the future.

Learn about Council’s innovative flood resilient ferry terminals, listen to guest speakers discuss water smart architecture, urban and landscape design, and find out how you can make your home or business water-smart. Registered attendees will be able to submit questions for discussion by the presenters.
