Brisbane CBD Toastmasters

We provide a fun, supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

The session follows the same format each fortnight. The first 30 minutes comprises of speeches: two prepared speeches of 5-7 minutes each followed by impromptu table topic speeches of 1 to 2 minutes. The next 30 minutes is evaluation; this is a positive feedback process to help all members and guests improve their communication skills. The session incorporates regular roles such as a time keeper, a grammarian, a table topic master and a general evaluaor.

Meeting Times: 1st and 3rd Thursday 12:30 pm for one hour at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Level 13 at 1 Eagle Street.
