This event is a free ticketed event for a maximum of 15 children aged 0 - 5 years and a parent or carer.

Can I leave my child unsupervised for the activity?

Accepted Answer

No, all participating children must be accompanied by a parent or adult carer for the duration of the activity.

How long will Bring A Thing Orchestra run for?

Accepted Answer

Bring A Thing Orchestra will run every week for 6 weeks, weather permitting, commencing on 4 February 2026.

Question 4

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

Bring something your child can use to make music! Please bring water and any other refreshments for you and your child. Please ensure that you and your child have appropriate sun protection as the activity is being run outdoors in a park.  Bring a picnic rug or camp chair if desired.

My child isn't musically oriented. Can we still participate?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Bring A Thing Orchestra is for all children aged 0 - 5 years regardless of their interest or experience with music. The aim is for children to enjoy themselves and learn new skills.

Question 6

What happens if the weather isn't kind?

Accepted Answer

In the event of extreme heat or wet weather, the activity may be cancelled. Those who have booked to attend will be notified of the cancellation.

Question 7

My toddler has older siblings. Can they join in?

Accepted Answer

To provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children aged 0 - 5 years, it is preferable that older children find other activities more suited to their age group. Please email arts@bayside.nsw.gov.au if you have further questions.
