Bridge Fellowship Hobart with Aaron Johnstone
A space for men to share their stories of success, failure, hardship and hope intertwined with questions of life, faith and meaning.
The Bridge Fellowship offers a place for guys to share their stories, experiences and reflections over breakfast, in a relaxed setting. We believe these conversations are increasingly rare, but all the more important and good for the soul.
This month the host will be in the chair, and we'll be hearing from Aaron Johnstone. He'll be reflecting on losing his Dad, disillusionment, and why he is still a Christian.
In terms of breakfast, we have some delicious breakfast wraps and granola available from Macquarie Soul, as well as fresh local coffee. You can let us know what coffee you'd like (e.g. Flat White, Long Black, alternative milks etc...) in the additional information box and we'll order it from Zimmah that day. Similarly if you have dietary requirements, let us know and we'll pick up whatever you need. Please register by Wednesday if you can, as we place orders on Thursday morning.
You can arrive around 7:15am for a 7:30am start. We then finish at 8:30am sharp to allow plenty of time for getting to work. Further details for accessing the venue will be provided once you have registered.
Third Space has regularly been hosting men's breakfasts around the country. They are designed to create a space for men to share their stories of success, failure, hardship and hope intertwined with questions of life, faith and meaning. People from all walks of life are welcome, regardless of faith background, belief or worldview.

Aaron was born in Sydney, but raised in Hobart from the age of three. He became a Christian at seventeen, studied an Arts degree at UTAS, completed his Masters of Divinity at Sydney Missionary and Bible College in 2017, and for the most part has spent the last 20 years in Christian ministry roles.
Most of Aaron's energy and time these days is devoted to thinking through cultural issues and applying a Christian lens to it, while also helping Christians live out their faith in their work context.
Aaron enjoys reading non-fiction, is a news junkie and a former amateur whisky taster (too expensive these days!). He is married to Rachel and together they have two kids, Sebastian (7) and Genevieve (4).
