A guided Somatic Experience with Michael Stone & Bella Berry

Purpose of This Experience

Breakthrough Breathwork is a guided, somatic experience designed to help participants improve mental clarity, emotional regulation, and nervous system balance. Using breath as a tool, the session supports stepping out of constant “doing” and into a state of embodied awareness. Participants are guided in a safe, structured way to release stress, gain insight, and connect more deeply with themselves.

Philosophy & Facilitation Approach

The session is delivered in a professional, contained framework emphasizing:

  • Nervous system safety and regulation
  • Clear expectations and informed consent
  • Participant autonomy (no forced sharing or intensity)
  • Structured facilitation rather than free-form expression
  • Thoughtful integration and aftercare

Participants are guided rather than pushed, ensuring a grounded, supportive experience.

Session Structure

1. Arrival & Orientation

  • Welcome and introduction to facilitators
  • Overview of breathwork and session flow
  • Emphasis on choice, autonomy, and self-regulation

2. Intention Setting & Gentle Icebreaker

  • Grounding exercise and reflection/journaling
  • Optional light partner or group check-in

3. Optional Cacao Offering

  • Small ceremonial cacao serving to enhance presence and heart openness

4. Guided Breakthrough Breathwork Journey

  • Regulation & Grounding: Establish breath awareness and safety
  • Activation & Emotional Access: Gradual increase in intensity; emotional release optional
  • Release & Resolution: Move stored tension/emotion; facilitator support as needed
  • Down-Regulation & Integration: Slow breath, nervous system balance, calm insight

5. Integration & Closing

  • Grounding and re-orientation
  • Explanation of common post-breathwork sensations
  • Optional group sharing
  • Guidance for post-session care

Safety & Professional Standards

  • Pre-session screening with contraindications and health acknowledgment
  • Breath intensity and participation fully optional
  • Facilitators trained to respond to emotional or physical reactions
  • Post-session integration guide with grounding exercises, journaling prompts, and self-care suggestions
