Join us for an interactive workshop that will examine the assumptions and stereotypes commonly associated with ageing and older people.
Backed by research, this workshop is a must for individuals and organisations who work with older people, or who want to create an engaged and effective workplace
What to expect?
- Engage in self-reflection exercises and small group discussions to explore your own attitudes and beliefs about age
- Develop a deeper understanding of the social and cultural factors that shape these perceptions
- Challenge ageist stereotypes about older people relating to their capacity, health outcomes, needs and wants
- Increase your knowledge and understanding of age beliefs and ageism and increase your skills for developing and implementing age-friendly initiatives in the workplace
