Learn the basics of breadmaking from your own kitchen, and discover how to make your first delicious crusty white loaf in this online baking workshop.
Catherine will explain how to work with yeast, and lead you through kneading, shaping and baking your loaf in this friendly and informative session. There will be plenty of tips and tricks for beginners, and an opportunity to ask questions.
Note that you will not complete your loaf in this session, as rising, proofing and baking are time-consuming. However, you will create the dough in a hands-on session, then watch a demonstration of the next steps, which you can complete later at home when your dough is ready.
Hosted by Catherine Saunders, the emphasis is on teaching beginners the basics of breadmaking, including ingredients and advice.
Participants will supply their own ingredients and tools at home.
