Who is an unpaid carer?

An unpaid carer is someone who provides support or care for a friend, family member or loved one who is frail aged or living with a long-term illness or disability (including mental health). This includes providing emotional or social support to someone living in a care facility.

How can I become registered with Carer Gateway?

Registration is free and easy. Simply call us on 1800 422 737 , alternatively you can visit https://www.wellways.org/our-services/carer-gateway/carer-gateway-registration/ alternatively you may attend the local Bundaberg Hub at 14 Bourbong Street Bundaberg and our staff may assist you.
