Boundaries in Lived Experience (Peer) Work for PEER WORKERS
Training for Peer Workers
This training recognises the unique position occupied by Lived Experience (Peer) workers when it comes to boundaries and includes how to:
- recognise what boundaries are (and aren’t) in Peer work
- identify personal boundaries
- understand why Peer work requires different boundaries to other helping positions by reframing boundary “crossings”
- create empathetic boundaries, including how and when to rebuild a boundary.
Please note this training is only for people in a peer work role. A boundaries training for Consumers will be available later in the year.
