Who is an unpaid Carer?

An unpaid carer is someone who provides support or care for a friend, family member or loved one who is frail aged or living with a long-term illness or disability (including mental health). This includes providing emotional or social support to someone living in a care facility.

Are You a Carer Looking for Social Connection? Would you like to meet other carers in your area? Join our Carers' Drop-In Hour with lived experience peer facilitator Jodie. This is a welcoming, relaxed space where you can enjoy a hot drink while you share stories and connect with other carers. No pressure, no agenda — just community and conversation.
