Event description

Description

Gutenberg’s invention of a printing press with movable type allowed the pioneers of the Reformation to spread their ideas in print much quicker than they could have done without it. Thus, the printed word and Reformed-evangelical theology go hand in hand. The Donald Robinson Library at Moore College holds many significant works printed during the Reformation, including two incunabula, first editions of Martin Luther’s works and every edition of the Book of Common Prayer. These and many more will be on display.

6:30 - Nibbles and (non-alcoholic) drinks will be served

7:00 - Guided tour of the exhibition inside the Donald Robinson Library (Lower Ground floor)
