Books for the Soul with Wellways at Glenorchy Library
A relaxed opportunity for all adults interested in learning and sharing about the benefits of reading for their mental health and wellbeing.
Explore how reading can support your mental health and wellbeing, find some great reads and rediscover the joy of reading with Wellways and Libraries Tasmania. Each week we will share books that support health, healing and hope with positive discussions in a supportive and friendly environment.
These sessions are open to all – new readers, passionate readers and everyone in between.
A relaxed, informal and enjoyable four week program, every Wednesday from 3 - 4.30pm at Glenorchy Library. Afternoon tea provided.

Carers or support people most welcome.
Parking:
- Library parking – Corner of Terry Street and Barry Street – Maximum 2-hour parking
- Glenorchy City Council Carpark off Barry Street - Maximum 2-hour parking
To ensure a successful event, please:
- Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else.
- Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.
Accessibility:
- 2 permit mobility parking spaces in Glenorchy City Council Carpark - 2-hour parking limits
- Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs
- Accessible toilet and parenting room available
