About this event
Bone density is one of the major health concerns in Australia. It is not subjective to women or men, nor is it subject to the elderly populations.
An estimated 924,000 Australians have osteoporosis, representing 3.8% of the population.
That's nearly one million Australians living with poor bone health.
Whats even more scary is 4.74 million Australians over 50 years of age (66% of people over 50) have osteoporosis, osteopenia or poor bone health.
The good news is there seems to be a solution. It is slowly emerging that one of the most effective means to manage bone health is regular exercise, particularly weight training.
The aim for this event is to teach you simple and accessible ways to expose your bones to necessary and safe exercise solutions.
