Description
Looking for a fun way to workout? Experience this exciting form of Modern Indian dance combining: Bhangra, Classical Indian, Arabic and Western Jazz, Funk and Hip Hop performed to the latest and hip Bollywood tracks. Each dance class involves: Warm ups and Isolations, Classical Indian Technique, Bhangra technique, Jazz/Funk/Hip hop technique & Choreographed Dance Routines just like you see in the Bollywood Movies.
Our Bollywood Dance courses will have you dancing to the latest Bollywood dance tracks , whilst getting a workout !! You will meet some great people and have lots of fun .
The course ends with a FLASH MOB at a secret location on SUNDAY 8th SEPTEMBER.
You will need to keep the morning and afternoon free on this day.

FINAL REHEARSAL:
All students performing will be required to attend a Compulsory Final Rehearsal on
Monday 2ND SEPTEMBER @ Seymour Theatre.

Farah Shah has trained full-time professional dancers in a Certificate IV in Performing Arts (Dance) in Jazz and Hip hop as well as Bollywood. She has Choreographed for : So You Think You Can Dance , Dancing with the Stars India, The Australian MTV Awards, Recipes to Riches, Sony India TV commercials, Uncle Ben TV commercials, and 16 years of Corporate events.
Her Bollywood classes have been featured on : Sydney Getaway, Sydney Weekender, Australian Idol, SBS Bollywood Star, New Idea, Saturday Disney, The Kerry-Anne show, The Today show, Ch7 News and more....
Pre-requisites:
No pre-requisites. All levels are welcome. Ages 15yrs to Adult.
What to wear:
Gym gear (something you can stretch and sweat in), leggings or dance pants are suitable, bare feet or jazz shoes, bellydance belts, bhindi's & bangles !!

Please make sure you seek approval from your Doctor or medical professional prior to commencing classes. Please bring a letter stating you are fit to undertake the class given your condition, to the instructor.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
