Hosted by Artspace Mackay Public Art Officer, Jennifer Dalton-Smith, this free city centre art walk for all ages begins at Artspace, Mackay and takes you through the city centre. Along the way, participants will learn about Mackay’s iconic public art installations, and the local, and internationally acclaimed artists who created them. Participants will be first to see the newest additions to Mackay's street art collection and for one afternoon only, will have the chance to talk to the artist who created them.
Whether you’re an artist, art lover, local or visitor to our vibrant city, you’ll find this late afternoon public art walk a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Bring friends, family members, or come by yourself - wear a hat, comfortable shoes, bring a bottle of water, and arrive promptly to Artspace, Mackay as the group will depart on time.

IMPORTANT - Please carefully read the terms and conditions before making a booking:
• All program attendees must be in good health prior to attending the session (eg. no runny noses, coughs, temperatures). If any of the attendees booked in feel unwell, please cancel your booking to enable another to use the vacant spot.
• Carefully consider your availability to attend the event BEFORE making your booking. Booking cancellations - especially late cancellations - can mean that we may not be able to fill that place, rendering it a lost opportunity for another community member.
• A reminder notification will be sent 24 hours prior to the program. If you are unable to attend, please cancel through Eventbrite, or contact Artspace Mackay ASAP on 4961 9722 to advise so they may remove you from the list manually.
• Photography Permission: Please be aware that all programs may be filmed and posted to Artspace Mackay website and Facebook page to provide access to those unable to attend the session. Filming will focus on the presenter but may include attendees. Do not attend if you do not wish to be filmed.
