In this talk, Dr Peter Raisbeck will discuss his experiences writing his blog Surviving the Design Studio. The primary audience for his blog is architects and those studying architecture. The blog discusses architecture in relation to technology, research and architectural education. In this talk will Peter will indicate the benefits of blogging for academics. Peter will outline how blogging can help ordinary scholars connect to their academic research, public advocacy, teaching and industry engagement. He will conclude by claiming that academics can blog at any stage of their careers.
