Postnatal and Baby Yoga Teacher Training

Have you ever been interested in running yoga classes for parents with their babies? There is often high demand for these classes and they can generate a healthy income stream for yoga teachers who are keen to "nurture the nurturer".

Bliss Baby Yoga are offering a Postnatal & Baby Yoga Teacher Training in beautiful Bellingen on the mid-north coast 31st May- 2nd June.

Prenatal Yoga teacher training is not a pre-requisite but an interest in supporting postpartum and babies is!


This Postnatal and Baby Yoga Teacher Training Course offers a balanced mix of theory and practical exercises providing you with valuable knowledge and tools to teach new mothers (with their babies!) safely and confidently.

  • Postnatal Yoga: Needs of the new mother: first 6 weeks and beyond;
  • Physiological changes including diastasis recti & prolapse
  • Postnatal safety guidelines
  • Sequencing and the 5 Postnatal Posture Groups
  • Restorative Yoga for new mothers

  • Perinatal Mental Health—an overview of postnatal depression
  • Birth Trauma – how to approach and support
  • Mother and Baby Yoga: benefits and applications
  • Incorporating baby in the yoga postures
  • Yoga sequences with baby in a sling/baby carrier
  • Baby yoga, songs and rhymes for baby
  • Simple baby massage techniques
  • Establishing and running a ‘mums n bubs’ yoga class
  • Attend and support a mother and baby yoga class
