Bleach* Festival and Meredith Elton Present 'Inherit the Wind'
Sun. 2 April 2017, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm AEST
By Meredith Elton in collaboration with composer Corrina Bonshek and DeepBlue
Inherit the Wind is a performance for our time. Come together at the edge of the ocean as the sun goes down. Listen to the wash of the waves and open to a larger symphony of life, loss, care and possibility.
Inherit the Wind is a community performance, art and music event that combines physical performance, installation and an immersive original sound score, featuring Song to the Earth, by contemporary classical composer Corrina Bonshek with DeepBlue, the string orchestra unleashed, and master percussionist Michael Askill.
Inherit the Wind brings together a multidisciplinary artistic team with over 60 participants from across the Tweed Caldera region. Having undertaken an in-depth creative exploration of feelings and responses in relation to the wonders and worries of weather and our rapidly changing climate, the team looks forward to sharing their powerful journey through this collectively created performance event.
Please note this is a promenade style performance where the audience will be walking over uneven ground.\
