Birdwatching Walk - Wyaralong Dam

This site is not only picturesque, but also one of the best bird watching sites in the Scenic Rim.

This site is not only picturesque, but also one of the best bird watching sites in the Scenic Rim. There are a few different species not typically seen around Brisbane. Species such as Jacky Winter, White-naped Honeyeater, Weebill and many more. The track we’ll be taking is easy and flat.

At the end of the walk, we’ll have a quick BYO morning tea and go through the bird list.

Things to Bring:

• Binoculars, or camera with telephoto lens
• Enclosed shoes
• Hat
• Snacks for morning tea
• Please do not bring your pets.

Directions: ⚠️Navigating via GPS/phone to using the place name will lead you to the wrong place ⚠️ The meeting point is found by taking Knehr Rd (via Old Beaudesert Rd) Wyaralong QLD. The road is unsealed but in good condition (2WD is fine). After 1km, follow Knehr Rd to the right.
