It’s not easy being a mother of four, Lebanese and Muslim. For Frida Deguise, this is just her normal life. She is funny and outspoken about all the things that make her comedy unique. Being a Muslim woman, wearing a Metallica shirt and making fun of hiding explosives in her hijab, sure got a reaction! Honoring the title of Australia’s only female Islamic comic wearing a hijab, Frida pushes the boundaries of perception, shows her world with HER rules. Her over-the-top bravado is balanced with brevity. Her controversy will make you explode with laughter.Having toured on the annual comedy hit show ‘A Very Woggy Xmas Gala’ with Joe Avati, Turkish Australian comedy sensation Tahir, better known to most as ‘Habib’ of Fat Pizza, and Gabriel Rossi Frida Deguise really is the soul of wit.Jenny Tian is the nicest person in comedy. She gives lifts home, is never short of compliments and is always up for a bit of banter. But that doesn’t mean she’s nice on stage. Don’t be surprised by her sweet demeanour, she’ll cut you down if you deserve it. Straight-up delivery, no-f***s-given attitude, Jenny will get you laughing at things you’ve never laughed at before.Eric Hutton’s been plying his unique (read: slightly strange) style of stand-up for several years on the Sydney and Melbourne comedy scene, with great success. He’s performed on The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia and on Triple J radio, filling in with Sam Simmons for industry mega-men Roy and H.G.At the 2008 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Eric appeared in Sam Simmons’ award-winning show Where Can I Win a Bear Around Here? and performed in the ensemble show The Zinger Machine. He’s supported London Comic of the Year Mark Watson’s Sydney shows at the Factory Theatre, and performs regularly in Sydney and Melbourne. Ben Kochan is a comedian who possesses a keen observational eye while maintaining a somewhat unhealthy commitment to being as silly as possible. Combine this with sharp writing and a phenomenal moustache, it’s a good time.Ben was selected as part of the prestigious Comedy Zone at the 2019 Melbourne Comedy Festival, performed stand-up at Triple J’s Good Az Friday, Splendour in the Grass, and supported Tom Gleeson and Wil Anderson. It’s quite the hot streak, and one that’s seen him become a favourite at comedy clubs around Australia.
