Bean to Cup workshop – Tanat x Nucleus Coffee Tools
Join us in person for a comprehensive Bean to Cup workshop brought to you by Tanat and Nucleus Coffee Tools.
What are the most important variables in coffee preparation, from green coffee to the final brew? How do we identify them and control them, and what result does this have in the cup?
Hosted by Nucleus Coffee Tools' Director and 2017 World Brewers Cup runner-up, Sam C`orra, this workshop – which is part presentation, part hands-on experience – will explore two different aspects of coffee preparation: roasting and brewing preparation.
In Part One, we examine the variables and inconsistencies in filter coffee preparation, and the advancements developed in order to create more consistent and higher quality brews. Using the new tool by Nucleus Coffee Tools, Bloom, we will have an interactive workshop and side-by-side comparison of filter brewing.
In Part Two, we utilise the LINK sample roaster in order to explore the possibilities of flavour development in coffee. We will discuss various roast plans, and how customising different approaches to small batch roasting can have a profound difference on the experience and expression of different coffees.
This is a free event. Registration required.
All content will be presented in English.
