Explore and celebrate the cultural significance of Nowruz and enjoy a guided craft session making paper hyacinths, beloved Nowruz flower.

Join us at Ryde Library to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year. Enjoy a short introduction to its history and traditions, followed by a guided craft session making paper hyacinths, a symbol of rebirth and hope. Presented in English and Farsi.

No experience required - just curiosity and creativity!

Please note: This session is for adults and families with children 8 years+ .

These activities are designed specifically for the age groups stated. Children booked in that are underage will not be admitted. Children aged 12 under must be accompanied by a parent or carer while in the library.
